Macaense Cuisine - Origins and Evolution by António M. Jorge da Silva was recognized and awarded with a Certificate of the World Gourmet Cookbook (Gourmand) during the 2019 Macao International Book Fair at the Venetian Macao, on July 4, 2019.

During the ceremony, with various international awards, the President of the Macao Cultural Affairs Bureau presented the certificate to the representative of the International Institute of Macao, and with the presence of the well known International Chef Chakall.

The book is an English-language publication of the International Institute of Macao, with the support of the Macao Foundation.
